Heidi has worked at different firms on several building types. From churches, to schools, to high-end residential and commercial, Heidi has experience working from schematic design to construction administration. Heidi is the Architect of Record for projects located in Kansas and Oklahoma designed by Wertzberger Architects.

About Heidi

Projects that Heidi has worked on as a member of Wertzberger Architects include a new townhome development in Marshalltown, renovating a health care facility into a preschool and children’s museum in Marshalltown, a new high school team facility building for East Marshall, a chiropractic office, and an exercise center in Fort Dodge, as well as restaurants, hotels, and churches located in the Midwest.

       Prior to joining the firm of Wertzberger Architects, PC., Heidi worked at TSP, Inc. in Marshalltown, Barnes Vanze Architects in Washington DC, and McCrery Architects, LLC in DC. Heidi interned at TSP, Inc. in Rochester, MN for three summers while in college.

       Heidi has created drawing sets in both AutoCAD and Revit. She has also built physical models, hand drafted, and water colored renderings. She has created budget pricing, bid, permit, and construction document sets. She has also coordinated drawings, submittals, and schedules during the construction administration phase.

Heidi Hogan earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree with an Architectural Practice and Enterprise Concentration from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN and is a registered architect in the states of Iowa, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Additionally, she holds an NCARB Certificate, granting her access to licensure in other states. Heidi is also a LEED Accredited Professional. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Iowa Chapter of AIA. She has also taught two semesters of Architecture in the Schools in Washington, DC. Lastly, Heidi and two colleagues created a group entry for a design competition that won first place. The design was for three artwork panels for The Village at Fairview in Dallas, Texas.
